Introduction: The Addison Central School District is a rural school located in Steuben County in upstate New York, covering a geographic area of approximately 160 square miles. The district consists of three buildings: one Pre-K – 6th elementary school, one Pre-K – 3rd elementary school, and one 7th – 12th middle-senior high school. The teaching staff is composed of 120 full- and part-time teachers and teaching assistants. There are 119 support staff members. The administrative team includes the Superintendent, Director for Curriculum and Instruction, Business Administrator, Senior High School Principal, Supervisor of Special Education, Elementary School Principal, along with a Secondary Dean of Students and an Elementary Dean of Students. We serve 1,210 students and our free and reduced lunch rate is 60 percent. The purpose of the Technology Plan is to provide an ongoing strategy for using technology in the district to support the students, teachers, administrators and Board of Education in the education at the district. This education of our students is done in alignment with the districts Strategic Plan (CDEP) and the Professional Development Plan (PDP). The Common Core and New York State Standards have been created to challenge every student to achieve the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in school and life. Addison Central School will develop a technology rich learning environment, providing leadership to support and enhance lifelong learning for students, staff, administration and community. To promote equity in education, all students will be offered the opportunity to access the district’s technology, either in the classroom or in a location convenient for shared use. District teachers and staff are expected to stay informed with technological advances and integrate technology into their curriculum and daily use in accordance with the PDP strategies. All users will be expected to follow the districts “Acceptable Use Policy” as set forth by the Board of Education. Technology is essential for students and staff to achieve the level of performance expected of them on the Common Core, New York State and world-class standards. Addison Central School will provide a learning environment, which will allow the opportunity to access district technology to enhance learning opportunities. It is the objective of the Addison Central School District to prepare students for the global job market as well as personal success and satisfaction throughout their lives. 3 Stakeholders District Technology Committee Members Name Title Mrs. Jill Blagg Teachers Assistant - Valley Mrs. Holly Brightman Math Teacher Mr. Bill Howe Director of Curriculum & Instruction Mr. Michael Klos Network Technician, GST BOCES Mrs. Lori Krelie Seventh Grade Teacher Mrs. Kerry Moultrup Sixth Grade Teacher Mrs. Sandie Munn Teaching Assistant Mr. Jeremy Smith Fourth Grade Teacher Mrs. Cheryl Tice Instructional Technology Specialist, GST BOCES Mr. Scott Vang Sr. Network Technician\Technology Director, GST BOCES Mrs. Heidi Van Woert Third Grade Teacher\Technology Coordinator Miss Alyson Windnagle 10th Grade Student Miss Katherine Watkins 7th Grade Student Addison Central School District Staff Middle/Senior High School Office Staff Name Title Department Mrs. Jennifer Crane Principal Middle/Senior High School Mr. Jeffery Lawrence Dean Of Students Middle/Senior High School Mrs. Tanya Loomis CSE CSE Ms. Jodi Mayo Secretary Main Office Mrs. Debra Bills Secretary Main Office Mrs. Dyenne Perkins Secretary Main Office Mrs. Annette Buckley Secretary CSE Mrs. Tina Dickerson Secretary Guidance Office Middle/Senior High School Faculty Name Title Department Mr. Helder Agostinho Spanish Teacher LOTE Mrs. Wendy Allard Social Studies Teacher Social Studies Mr. Scott Anderson Technology Teacher Technology Mr. Scott Bahantka Physical Education Teacher Physical Education Mrs. Holly Brightman Math Teacher Math 4 Mr. Seth Castle Science Teacher Science Ms. Jessica Clark Teaching Assistant Teaching Assistant Mrs. Susette Cox Monitor Monitor Mrs. Barbara Cronk Teaching Assistant Teaching Assistant Mrs. Michelle DuBois Art Teacher Art Mr. James Dufort English Teacher English Mrs. Sonya English Teaching Assistant Teaching Assistant Mrs. Sarah Gaona Spanish Teacher LOTE Ms. Rhonda Gee Teaching Assistant Teaching Assistant Mrs. Monica Lynn Gill Teaching Assistant Teaching Assistant Mrs. Carolyn Guild Teaching Assistant Teaching Assistant Ms. Lori Graham Aide Aide Mr. Jahn Greenfield Physical Education Teacher Physical Education Ms. Cory Gronemus Special Education Teacher Special Education Ms. Aurora Hall English Teacher English Mrs. Sandie Hanrahan-Munn Teaching Assistant Teaching Assistant Mrs. Deanna Horton Teaching Assistant Teaching Assistant Mrs. Gayle Hill HomeEC Teacher Family Consumer Science Mr. Jason Howard Math Teacher Math Mrs. Evelyn Houghtaling Aide Aide Mrs. Tonya Illig Special Education Teacher Special Education Mrs. Tari Janeski Math Teacher Math Mrs. Judith Johnson- Huth Science Teacher Science Mrs. Beth Ann Jones Spanish Teacher LOTE Ms. Meaghan Julian Science Teacher Science Mrs. Carol Kahabka Teaching Assistant Teaching Assistant Mr. James Keenly Vocal Music Teacher Vocal Music Mrs. Debra Kerwan English Teacher English Mrs. Robin Kerwan Special Education Teacher Special Education Mrs. Amanda Knaisch Math Teacher Math Mrs. Lori Krelie Social Studies Teacher Social Studies Ms. Donna Lederman Aide Aide Mrs. Deborah Lee Science Teacher Science Mrs. Cynthia Lyons Social Studies Teacher Social Studies Mr. Timothy Lyons Health Teacher Health Miss Debbie Miller Librarian Library Mrs. Paula Mourhess Math Teacher Math Ms. Susan Nichols Aide Aide Mr. Joe Oliverio Physical Education Teacher Physical Education Mr. Scott Ouderkirk Technology Teacher Technology Mrs. Heather Overton Special Education Teacher Special Education Mr. Mike Overton Technology Teacher Technology Mrs. Jessica Painter English Teacher English Mr. Joe Palko Science Teacher Science 5 Mrs. Misty Hively-Pierce Special Education Teacher Special Education Mrs. JoAnna Price Reading Teacher Reading Mrs. Catherine Olander Science Teacher Science Ms. Ashley Sims English Teacher English Mr. Ben Schea Global Studies Teacher Global Studies Ms. Heather Scherb Family Consumer Science Teacher Family Consumer Science Mrs. Tammie Schoup Aide Aide Ms. Karen Tompkins Aide Aide Mrs. Kim Thompson Physical Education Teacher Physical Education Ms. Ann Marie Tuscany Teaching Assistant Teaching Assistant Mr. Brett Van Woert Social Studies Teacher Social Studies Mr. John Vona Music Teacher Inst.
