ShereceivedherAASdegreeinnursingfrom Queens College, her BS and MS degrees fromAdelphiUniversity,andherPhDfrom NewYorkUniversity.DuringhercareerDr. Levinhasheldpositionsasstaffnurse,headnurse,educator,researcher, andeducationaladministrator.Shehasconductedandpublishedresearch onpainmanagement,nursingdiagnoses,anddiagnosticcompetenciesof nurses,andhaswrittenonawidevarietyofnursingresearchandeduca- tionalissues.Shepresentslocally,regionally,nationally,andinternation- ally on evidence-based practice (EBP) in relation to curriculum development and research on mentoring nurses to integrate EBP into their clinical practice.
