characterstodistinguishthetwoformsinthesetreatises. LEE(1987) treatedko/tzel
asasynonymof,・1'gipe1'川s.
Aftercomparingseriesofspecimensof,・Mg/pe'77'1sand/(o/「ze',Ihavecometothe
conclusionthatthesetwo formsshouldberegardedastwodistinctspeciesbecauseof
differencesintheproportional lengthsoftheantennalsegmentsandinproportionsof
thewidthandlengthoftheprothoraxandelytra.

is similar to the monotypic genus, Xe11oleptu1'a DANILEvsKY, LoBANov et MURzIN,
1981inlarval characters, andproposedthat thetwogenera,Sac/fail,1obiaand Xe/1-
oleptut・a,haveatribalrank.

準i太,朝if, 中国北東部,北流i適および本州中部に分布するァラメハナカミキリSachalinobiakoltzei
(HEYDEN,1887)は,GRESSITT(1953)により, カナダ東部とアメリカ北束部に分布するホクベイァラ
メハナカミキリS ru9iPennis(NEWMAN,1844)のfill要j,として取り扱われた. その後, 両者はlflj種あ
るいは lとして扱われてきたが,両者を識別するための有効な特徴の記述がなかった. 多数の両者の
1 ,, j 標本を比較した結果,角上角の長さ,角角ｶ節の比前 11 ・ 上 地のそれぞれの幅lと長さの比 な どの形態
的相建: と分布状態 (異所的分一布による生殖隔離) により, 両者を独立極とみなした.
