NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT COMMERCIAL TAXES AND REGISTRATION DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATIONS UNDER THE TAMIL NADU VALUE ADDED TAX APPELLATE TRIBUNAL REGULATIONS , 2011 . AMENDMENTS TO NOTIFICATION G.O. Ms. No. 11, Commercial Taxes and Registration (A 1 ), 20th January 2022 , தை 7, பிலவ , திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு -2053 .) No. 11( 2 ) /C TR /6 0 (a ) / 2 022 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -s ection (5 ) of section 50 of the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax Act , 2006 (T amil Nadu Act 32 of 2006 ), the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax Appellate Tribunal (C ommercial Taxes ) with the previous sanction of the State Government hereby makes the following amendments to the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax Appellate Tribunal Regulations , 2011 : AMENDMENTS In the said Regulations ,- ( 1 ) in regulation 6 in sub -r egulation (2 ) , for clauses (b ) and (c ) 1, the following clauses shall be substituted , namely : "( b ) All appeals arising from the districts of Madurai , Theni , Dindigul , Ramanathapuram , Sivagangai , Thirunelveli , Virudhunagar , Thoothukkudi and Kanyakumari shall be presented to the Secretary at Madurai . (c ) All appeals arising from the districts of Coimbatore , Tiruppur , Nilgiris , Salem , Erode , Namakkal , Dharmapuri , Krishnagiri , Tiruchirappalli , Karur , Ariyalur , Perambalur and Pudukkottai shall be presented to the Secretary at Coimbatore ." (2 ) In regulation 9, for sub -r egulations (2 ) and (3 ) excluding the provisos thereunder , the following sub -r egulations shall be substituted , namely : "(2 ) The Additional Bench of the Appellate Tribunal at Madurai shall have jurisdiction in respect of appeals arising from the districts of Madurai ,T heni ,D indigul ,R amanathapuram ,S ivagangai , Thirunelveli , Virudhunagar , Thoothukkudi and Kanyakumari . The Additional Bench of the Appellate Tribunal at Coimbatore shall have jurisdiction in respect (3 ) of appeals arising from the districts of Coimbatore ,T iruppur ,N ilgiris ,S alem ,E rode ,N amakkal , Dharmapuri , Krishnagiri , Tiruchirappalli , Karur ,A riyalur , Perambalur and Pudukkottai ".
