In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country
Planning (Amendment) Act, 2010 (Tamil Nadu Act 46 of 2010), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints
the 1st day of January 2011 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
