We have travelled together to many places, we have explored far horizons! Now, she has chosen to write her life upon the higher dimensions, and I am sure this new beginning will be as vibrant and as enthusiastic as ever! It was a privilege to know her here on the Earth. She is my friend and our purposes frequently brought us together in our work. We have often laughed together, sometimes we have cried a little, but always we have grown in understanding of what life is and our parts within it. Listening to the sounds brought through Ascentia has often seemed like listening to life itself. There is sometimes a little struggle, but life can be full of courage and hope also, as we seek to trust the yet unknown opportunities, allowing the soul level to guide each new step. On the Earth, she loved each opportunity to share and communicate with others, often helping them not to take life or themselves so seriously! She doesn’t feel “put upon by life” but has truly accepted her role and is willing to serve the Plan in whatever manner it calls upon her. This book, with the full agreement of Vywamus and Sanat Kamara, is being dedicated to Ascentia as we all say together, “Bon Voyage, Ascentia! You are truly ready now! You are on your way!” Janet McClure v THE STORY OF SANAT KUMARA INTRODUCTION Have you ever wondered how the beauty of the Earth was created? As you look at a magnificent waterfall plunging down the side of a rock cliff, view the vibrant range of colour within a sunset or walk within the peace and tranquillity of a forest do you wonder “How is this created?” Certainly, God, the Creator, had the vision from which the Earth was born, but have you wondered “how can it be so beautiful, so alive?” I, Vywamus, a being rather new to the Earth, would like to tell you a story of the way in which the Earth is able to “walk in great beauty” through the wisdom and efforts of a great being whose name is Sanat Kumara, the planetary logos of the Earth. This book is his story. Let us view together how one becomes a planetary logos, one who is an administrator for the Earth, rather like a president. He began just as you and I did with an awareness of himself as light. Over the eons he moved within that light, enjoying the magnificent colours, playing with and being instructed by the angels and other teachers. Existence seemed wonderful to him. Gradually he reached a point of awareness which is the approach to the physical level. He rested there for a while and, when he was ready, he was shown his next step. He would go to a particular planet in this galaxy and take on physical form. vi He was told the Creator had chosen his role on this planet, that he was to take part in its overall evolution. The deep probing nature of physical existence was explained to him and he recognized this was a very unique opportunity. Eagerly he awaited the birth process which was now beginning, knowing that he would always have the support of the Creator on every level of being! Let us journey together, then, seeing through Sanat Kumara’s eyes the unfoldment of his abilities and his training for the important position of planetary logos of the Earth. vii CHAPTER ONE I am called Sanat Kumara and you and I have much in common. Together with many, many other souls we have created the Earth. I remember how I reached this point and I would like to share with you how I came to be here. In the telling perhaps you will see your own past or future, because we are not different, you and I, not at all. In the introduction you saw how I began and the journey which led me to my first experience on the physical level. Over a period of almost 1,000 years I had 69 lives on a small planet within this galaxy. It is quite similar to the Earth in size and density. During these lives I gradually learned about my purposes by sharing with those around me what I understood more and more clearly that everything lives in the Oneness. There is no separation anywhere. I had lives which were interesting and sometimes challenging both as a man and as a woman. I was a teacher and often I was a leader among my people, showing them how to share with each other in order to be happy and productive. Often, I pointed out that happiness comes from a sense of oneness, that each learns to trust the Oneness, to trust there is a support system available. Sometimes I could see others understanding what I said but often my opinions and my love were not accepted. Always I felt the support of the Oneness as gradually I became more aware of the fabric which makes up our overall guidance which I am calling the 1 Oneness. As I lived on my planet I learned more and more how to communicate my feelings of certainty and assuredness to others. I saw why people were afraid and why they didn’t recognize support. They had not yet completely accepted the Oneness! I would like to share with you the story of my last life on this planet, the wonderful experience which allowed me to reach a very important point in my evolution. As a small boy I was a shepherd, the only son of my father, a man who had large investments on this planet. You would call him a wealthy man. Among his many holdings, then, were thousands and thousands of sheep grazing on an extensive land area which my father also owned. My father served on the Planetary Council and so he was away from home a great deal of the time. I missed him very much and thus I spent a great deal of my time with the sheep. On our planet the sheep could talk a little; they were like children and as I was a child also, they were my friends and companions. I felt the sheep were a part of myself, a gentle part which I could enjoy and play with. Often, I would romp and roll with them, over and over, laughing and shouting, the hills ringing with our merriment and echoing our joy. Now our planet was on the brink of a global war which my father and others on the council were trying to prevent. Increasingly, he travelled from place to place helping to negotiate peace — helping to prevent a terrible war. I never knew in advance when he would come home. I looked forward so much to the brief 2 periods we had together. I said to the sheep, “Tell me when he is coming”. and they did. I would run to meet him, flinging myself into his arms. He was, as I said before, a powerful man. He would toss me up very high in his arms saying, “You’ve grown, you’re growing very tall!” To me this was wonderful news as I wished to grow up to be just like my father, the most wonderful person in my world! I loved him so much and I knew he loved me also. During one of his briefs visits home he said to me, “My son, I may not return from this next trip. I want to, but it may be that the threatening war could keep me from returning”. I cried out, “Oh, no, father, no! You must come back, I need you”. My father said to me with a smile, “Remember, we are always together. We cannot be separated; we will always be together. And although I may not come back in the same way I have up to now, I will always be with you. Look for me in the sheep”. And we spent those last precious moments together among the sheep. Sure enough the war broke out and my father was imprisoned. I missed him terribly, but I remembered his words. I went out to my friends, the sheep, and in them I saw my father. They had the same gentleness and also the same power. There was my father! The sheep were very kind to me, knowing what I was going through. They nurtured and supported me and gradually I grew stronger and stronger in my ability to see my father everywhere. Now I saw him, not only in the sheep, but in the trees, in the flowers and in the earth itself. Everywhere I looked there was my father! 3
