This mineral withdrawal has been in place since 1959 to protect the gravel beds from mining related disturbances which may adversely affect fish reproduction, ‘The Steamboat Creek Watershed has long been recognized as an extremely important spawning and rearing area for summer and winter steelhead trout. The watershed also provides important habitat for migratory and resident cutthroat trout, spring chinook salmon and coho salmon. Other native fish in the watershed include rainbow trout, redside shiner, and sculpin and dace species. Steamboat Creek and its tributaries have been closed to fishing since 1932. for the greatest good For more information, please contact the North Umpqua Ranger Di 18782 North Umpqua Highway Glide, OR 97443 Phone: 541-496-3532 Foe 541-496-3534 on Cottage Grove Ranger District, 78405 Cedar Park Road Cottage Grove, OR 97428 Phone: 541-767-5000 Fax: 541-767-5075 saninnce parejas Bulwjus 10 Bunpadsoid soup Auy = Sulbpaia Supinis + Sujuueg + 2018 UMEIPYRIM a4 UMA BSTETOHE aie saniande Suymojio axa :papuawie se’Zzet Jo ‘xe?
