And then we follow the construction of the starship, the dramatic test on Pluto, the departure for Operation Centaur, the arrival on the very distant planet, so remote and so much like the old Earth. But the emotions are not over: who are the mysterious civilized Ainsath, the bronze giants that populate the planet? We do not want to take the surprise away from the reader by revealing it to him now, but we would like to bet that he would never be able to guess it. And we're also willing to bet that he won't easily forget the brave, simple Walt, the smart Dr. Hansman, Captain Garver, who has something of the old pirates, sweet Marge ... and, not least, Cosmo, the cat of edge, important and fun character of this clever book.
