By giving examples of “Do This, Not That,” the Altar Servers should gain a clear understanding of how they should look and where they should be at various times throughout the Mass. This guide is a learning tool and an ongoing reminder. Our goal is to have the Altar Servers enhance the worship experience in an inconspicuous way. They serve the priest and the community. The more experience an Altar Server has and the more guidance they receive figures into their overall success. Please take the time to review this guide with your child and look for areas of success and improvement. Wear your cincture/rope around your waist, not your hips.
