She chaired the Association for Education and Ageing from 2005–2012 and is associate editor of its InternationalJournalofEducationandAgeing.Shewasanadvisertothe BishopofGuildfordconcerningadulteducationforfifteenyears,until 2014. She is the Director of Emory’s Religion and Public Health Collaborative, and holds faculty appointments in the Graduate Division of Religion, and the Depart- ment of Epidemiology in the Rollins School of Public Health.
