The project includes the following work: removal and replacement of two exterior main entrances including concrete stairs, sidewalks, snowmelt system ADA access ramps, brick walls, stairway lighting, flag pole relocation, roof downspout to catch basin storm pipe construction, bollards, new ADA parking areas including bituminous pavement, ADA stripping and ADA signs. This project will be constructed in three individual construction phases, due to the necessity of maintaining access to the existing buildings. SEALED BIDS MUST BE DELIVERED TO THE: DIVISION OF PURCHASING CITY OF WARREN ONE CITY SQUARE, 4TH FLOOR WARREN, MI 48093 ON OR BEFORE 12:30 PM, WEDNESDAY, MAY 11, 2016 SUBMIT ONE (1) ORIGINAL BID AND ONE (1) COPY OF THE ORIGINAL BID, ALONG WITH ONE COMPLETE BID IN PDF FORMAT ON A USB FLASH DRIVE. No bid will be received unless made on City-issued bid forms. Bids received after 12:30 PM of the date they are due will not be accepted or will be marked late, and retained unopened. Bids will be transported over to the City Council chambers, auditorium, Warren Community Center, 5460 Arden, Warren, MI, after the Purchasing Department has registered and sorted the bids. They will be opened at 1:00 PM. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least 120 days.
