Ventral surface mostly smooth, coarsely punctate on lateral portions of metasternum; metepisternumelongate, four-fifths longer than wide; abdomen sparsely pubescent alongmiddleof2nd to6thsegments, 6thbisetoseon each sidein bothsexes,subtruncatein andclearlyarcuatein Hind femur bisetosealonghindmargin; foretibiastronglyexpandeddistad andgentlyarcuateinwards,not incised inexternalhalfofapex,quadrispinous apico-externa11y, terminalspur robust andlanceolate; tarsi relativelyshort, 1st segmentsofforeandmidtarsinotbearingadhesivesquamaonventralside,hind tarsus five-sixths in andabout three-fourths(0.78 in ratio) in the width of head,1stsegmentaslongasthe2ndand3rdtogether,3rdthree-fourthsthe2nd andone-fifthlonger thanthe4th,clawsegmentbl-or trisetosealongeachventral margin. ThisnewspeciesiscloselyalliedtoOx:ycentrus(s.str)acutuhtsBATES,but differsinhavingtheantennaeslenderer, thepronotumlessprominentandmore widelyroundedatapicalanglesandmorestronglycontractedbehindatsidesand theelytralesselongateandmostlyblackinsteadofbeingreddishbrown. Thenewspeciesisalsosimilarto 0)cycentrus(s.str)melas(ScHMIDT-GoBEL), but is distinguished from the latter, in addition to the characters mentioned above, by thebody wider and brownish in color instead of being black, the pronotummore thickly bordered, and theelytrabearing reddish margins and sutural intervalsinsteadofbeingblack. This new species is somewhat similar to 0)cycentrus (s. str) algutoroides (BATES),but iseasilydistinguished fromthelatterbytheantennaeslenderer, the pronotumwider, theapicesof foretibiaemoredeeplyincisedinexternalhalves andthetarsislenderer,besidesthesubgenericcharacteristics. Orycentrlls(0xycentro-s')aeMtl'penm'ssp nov. (Figs 4,9) This new speciesresembles Oxycentrus (0xycentropsts)gracilitarsis, but is different fromthelatter inhavingthebodysmaller,theeyeslessprominent, the pronotum lesstransverseandsharper at basal angles,and thesuturalanglesof elytra not rounded. Thenew species isalso allied to Ox;ycentrus(s.str)melas (ScHMIDT-GoBEL), but is distinguished from thelatter, inaddition to thesub- genericcharacteristics,bythesidesofpronotumnotsinuatebeforebase,theelytra not toothedathumeralanglesandwithsharpsuturalangles,andthetibiaemuch slenderer. Pronotumsubqudrate,weaklycontractedforwardsandbackwards,withsides rather thickly bordered,sparsely punctate in basal foveae. Hind wingsentire. Elytrasubpara11e1-sided, ratherconvex,notpunctate;scutellarstrictoveryshort. Sixthabdominalsegment in bisetose on eachside. Aedeagus (Fig 9)slender, almost straightly prolonged distad; apex thin, knob-shapedat tip;apicalorificewidelyopen,innersacarmedwith twogroups ofscleriteswhichareconicaland ratherelongate. Length:6.9mm. Width:2.6mm. Unknown. Holotype: Tonkin, with label inscribed 0.xycentrus deb出sScHAuB., a , (preserved in the Landesmuseum, Linz). 要 約 伊藤 昇: 0;xycentrus属の数種について. - 0xycentrus(s.str)acutulusBATESを再記載した. また, タイからOx),centrus(s.str)baehriおよび0.(0xycent・topsls)gracitita,s:isをそれぞれ記載し た.前者は, 0.acutulusにきわめてよく似てぃるが,触角がより細いこと, 前胸背板側縁がよ り強く狭まること, 上通がより短いことなどで区別できる. また後者は, Ox;ycentrus(s.str) argutoro,dos(BATES)に似てぃるが, 触角および付節がより細いこと,前111?節先端の外側が深く 切れ込むことなどで区別できる. さらに, ベトナム(Tonkin)より0xycentrus(0xycentropsis)acu- tipenn,sを記載した. この極は, 0.grac流tarsisに似てぃるが, より小型なこと,前胸背板はよ り横長で後角がより鋭いこと, 上通会合線先端角が鋭いことなどの点で異なる. 0x:ycentro- 40 NoboruITO ps,s亜属の種は,従来マレイ半島からスンダ諸島にかけての地域だけから知られていたが,今 回インドシナ半島より初めて記録された.
