Description:
Written in 1941, this little book is a cross between the sword and
planet genre of the time, and Tarzan of the Apes. Set a millenium in
the future, Sojarr is born Stuart Rapidan, son of famed adventurer Pitt,
who is shooting for first landfall on the moon of Titan, aiming to win a
huge cash prize. Unfortunately, the landing is not exactly controlled:
but Pitt has managed to construct a nest of safety cables for his 3
year old son, who he tells to be a brave little soldier. Corrupted,
this title gives the surviving 3-year old his name, as he grows up on
the moon of Titan, battling carniverous plants, giant ant-spiders, and
whatever else, including discovering the local human populace, who being
uniformly blond distrust the dark-haired Sojarr.
