This year, the central theme of our magazine is Women Empowerment. World of to-days women is not enclosed within the four walls. Still, it is the worst of times, as every day, we come across numerous unpleasant events relating to oppressions and atrocities on women throughout the country . Extensive enrolment of women in higher education, tremendous amount of social awareness program organized by political, religious or academic sectors, and many other social organizations have failed to control undue torture on women. In this backdrop, to make our students fully aware of this gloomy situation, we have collected a bunch of fabulous write-up on the spirit and flavour of women empowerment and true meaning of holistic education. Our aim is to encourage creativity of our students and so also their honest desire to be empowered in future through their inner strength and meaningful education. That is why, along with this central theme, we have encouraged their spontaneous literary creations. Simultaneously both the faculty members and members of non teaching staff of the college have contributed in the magazine as usual. I am quite hopeful that the present issue of college magazine is consisting of many interesting and thought provoking articles. I feel happy and lucky indeed to have active cooperation of all the members of magazine Editorial Board. I am also grateful to the team of Ma Kamakhya Press for bringing the magazine out on time and with a great deal of care. I anticipate, that those days are not far off when our students will raise their voice against all sorts of gender discrimination and atrocities on women. This issue of KRISTI , I hope , is a beginning of a future meaningful endeveaour. -- v -- ¢Á™y”„þ#ëû -- vi -- ¢Á™y”„þ#ëû xy›yöì”îû îy!¡ìÅ„þ þ™!e„þy ò„,þ!ÜTó ö”…öì“þ ö”…öì“þ þ™y !”œ !m“þ#ëû îŠéöìîûÐ ²Ì„þy!Ÿ“þ £öìëûöìŠé þ ™!e„þyîû 2017 ¢‚…Äy Ð þ™vþüyÖöì˜y– ö…œy•)öìœy Šéyvþüy öœ…yöìœ!…öì“þç Šéye#öì”îû x‚Ÿ@ùÌ£’ ~îyîû ö‰þyöì… þ™vþüyîû ›öì“þyÐ öŠéyÝþ†Ò– „þ!î“þy– Šé!î xy¤„þyöì“þ “þyöì”îû ˜“%þ˜ ¦þyî˜yîû öŠéy¤ëûy îûöìëûöìŠéÐ þ™!e„þy!Ýþöì„þ !îöìŸ¡ì ›ëÅy”y !”öìëûöìŠé !ŸÇþ„þ ç x!ŸÇþ„þ „þ›Å‰þyîû# éôôé ¢„þöìœîû ßþº“þƒßþ³)þ“Åþ öëy†”y˜ Ð ¢îöìŸöì¡ì „,þ“þKþ“þy ‹ y˜y£z– x•ÄÇþy ×#›!“þ „,þ¡Œy îûyëûöì„þ– ëy¤îû xy@ùÌ£ ç !˜îûhsþîû vþzê¢y£”y˜ xy›yöì”îû „þy‹ xö옄þ ¢£‹ „þöìîû ö”ëûÐ -- vii -- -- viii --
