TravelportSmartpointisautomatically launchedwhenyouopenGalileoDesktop.

TheTerminal Windowontherightinwhichtoenterformatsandobtaingeneral responses
ThePNRViewer Windowontheleftthatautomatically refreshesthePNR/Booking File
Switching between Travelport Smartpoint and Galileo Desktop
WhenyouhavesignedontoTravelportSmartpointyoucanusethekeyboardshortcutCtrl + F12 toswitch
to/fromGalileoDesktopif required.
If TravelportSmartpointhasbeenclosed, youcanre-launchitby clicking theTravelportSmartpointicon
visibleontheGalileoDesktopCustomToolbar. Thisiconisautomatically installedonthetoolbar
whenTravelportSmartpointissuccessfully installed.

Signing In
If youarenotsignedintoGalileoDesktopwhenyoulaunchTravelportSmartpoint, thefollowing sign-on
dialoguebox isdisplayed:

EnteryourGalileoDesktopsign-onandpassword.
Note: YoudonotneedtoincludetheformatSON/ intheSign-onbox.
If yourClientIDrequiresyoutoemulate, thefollowing box islaunchedforyoutoentertherequired
PCC. Click Cancelif youdonotwishtoemulate.

Note: If youdonotuseyourGalileoworkstationfora periodof 120 minutes, Galileoautomatically signs
yououtandyouloseany unfinishedtransactions.

Tosignoutof TravelportSmartpoint, enter: SOF
Theresponseis: SIGN-OFF COMPLETE.

TominimizeTravelportSmartpointandreturntoGalileoDesktop, usethekeyboardshortcutCtrl + F12. 
UseCtrl + F12 tobring TravelportSmartpointback totheforefrontwhenrequired.
Alternatively, click ‘QuitApplication’ ontheAPPLICATION menutocloseTravelportSmartpoint.

Changing Local Language
Youcancustomizethelocal languagedisplayed:
Click theApplication menu.
SelectApplication Settings.
SelecttheLanguagedrop-downbox tochangethelocal language.
Click Save.
Thenew languagewill appearafterrestarting TravelportSmartpoint.

Creating a Password
Passwordsmustbe:
Seventotencharactersinlength.
Alpha numeric (atleastoneletterandonenumber)
Changedevery 90 days
TheGalileosystempromptsyouwhenyouneedtoassignyourself a new password. Youcannotusethe
samepasswordforfiveconsecutivechangesandyoucannotusethefollowing asyourpassword:
Agentsign-on
Agentname
Daysof week
Namesof months
Whenyousignonforthefirsttime, youusea temporary password. Youarethenpromptedtochangeit
toa permanentoneandtoseta keyword.

Setting Your GDS Language
Thetranslationfeaturesupportsa primary andsecondary language.
To configure the GDS language:
Click ontheConnectionbox atthetopof thescreen.
Selectyourprimary cryptic language.
Selecta secondary cryptic language.

Afterupgrading yourexisting versionof TravelportSmartpoint, a pop-upbox will display withinform-
ationdescribing thenew featuresandfunctionality availablewiththelatestrelease. Youhavetheoption
tohidethisbox fromdisplaying by selecting theDon'tshow methemessageagaincheck box.
