TwopeoplearerequiredtomountyourSMARTproductbecauseitmaybetooheavyforone

Whenyouliftyourinteractivewhiteboard,youandyourassistantshouldstandoneitherside
ofthescreen,supportingitsweightatthebottomwhilebalancingthetopwithyourother
hands.
Whenmountingtheprojectorboomonaframedorhollowwall,attachboththemounting
l
bracketandthesafetytethertoastudtosafelysupporttheprojector’sweight.Ifyouuseonly
drywallanchors,thedrywallcanfail,resultinginpossiblepersonalinjury,anddamagetothe
productwhichmaynotbecoveredbyyourwarranty.
Donotleavecablesonthefloorwheretheycanbeatrippinghazard.Ifyoumustrunacable

overthefloor,layitinaflat,straightlineandsecureittothefloorwithtapeoracable
managementstripofacontrastingcolor.Handlecablescarefullyandavoidexcessive
bending.

Donotoperatethisunitimmediatelyaftermovingitfromacoldlocationtoawarmlocation.

Whentheunitisexposedtosuchachangeintemperature,moisturecancondenseonthe

AvoidputtingtheprojectorintoStandbymodeduringthelampignitionphasebecausethis

canleadtoprematurelampfailure.Keeptheprojectorlamponforaminimumof45minutes
beforeputtingitintoStandbymodetopreservethelamplife.
Inahighaltitudelocationover6000'(1800m),wheretheairisthinandcoolingefficiencyis

reduced,usetheprojectorwiththefanmodesettoHigh.
CyclingpowertotheprojectorrepeatedlycanlockordamageyourSMARTproduct.After
l
youputtheproductintoStandbymode,waitatleast45minutesforcoolingbeforestarting
theproductagain.
Ifdustorsmallitemspreventpentraybuttonsfrombeingpressedorcauseconstantbutton

contact,removetheobstructionscarefully.

TherearenoprojectormenuoptionsontheACP.Keepyourremotecontrolinasafeplace

becausetheACPisnotasubstitutefortheremotecontrol.
DonotdisconnectcablesfromtheACPtoconnectperipheraldevicesbecauseyoucould

disconnectcontrolsforyourinteractivewhiteboard.
Disconnecttheproductfromitspowersourcewhenit’snotusedforalongperiod.

Cleaning
CAUTION
l Beforeyoucleantheprojector,pressthePower buttonontheACPandselectthe
StandbybuttonorpressthePower buttontwiceontheremotecontroltoputtheprojector
intoStandbymode,andthenallowthelamptocoolforatleast30minutes.
Donotspraycleaners,solventsorcompressedairnearanypartoftheprojectorbecause
l
theycandamageorstaintheunit.Sprayingthesystemcouldspreadachemicalmiston
someoftheprojector’scomponentsandlamp,resultingindamageandpoorimagequality.
Donotallowliquidsorcommercialsolventsofanykindtoflowintotheprojector.
l
IMPORTANT
PutyourSMARTproductintoStandbymodebeforecleaningit.
l
Followtheseguidelinestocleantheprojector:

o Wipetheexterioroftheprojectorwithalint-freecloth.
o Ifnecessary,useasoftclothmoistenedwithamilddetergenttocleantheprojector
housing.
o Donotuseabrasivecleaners,waxesorsolvents.
o Avoidtouchingthelens.Ifitisnecessarytocleanthelens:
o Useliquidsorcommercialsolvents(suchasglasscleaners)tocleanthelens,
butdonotspraythemdirectlyonthesystem.
o Useprotectiveglovesanddipalint-freecloth(suchasPurestatPW2004)inan
anti-staticsolvent(suchasHypercleanEE-6310).
o Gentlywipethelensfromthecentertotheedge.Donotapplyanypressureto
thelens.
