Description:This book continues the publication of small objects found in the region of the Pnyx hill, the great open-air assembly place of Athens, during excavations by Homer A. Thompson between 1931 and 1937. It contains essays on ''Figured Pottery'' (Talcott and ''Philippaki), ''Hellenistic Pottery'' (Edwards), and ''Stamped Wine Jar Fragments'' (Grace). The material published is fragmentary but provides an interesting sample of some coarser varieties of Attic vase-painting in the first half of the 4th century B.C.
