ill | remember how to ski? That is the question that
| muse over when | think about my ski plans this
season. And whether | will fit into my ski pants.

= = Probably not — thanks to all the COVID comfort
eating. Add kids to the equation and there is a lot to be done before
we can all head off to the Australian snow fields, or fly over to New
Zealand — because we finally can!

The team here at Ski and Snowboard with Kids is so excited to talk
all things snow again, and we have some gorgeous and informative
stories to help you decide where to take your snow bunnies this
season, or over our summer holidays in the Northern Hemisphere.

We talk to several outdoors-loving families on how to raise kids
that love active family adventures. We go to Europe and present
some wonderful ideas for winter fun you can add on to a ski trip. Our
readers love the USA and we have stories on your favourite ski areas,
including Aspen Snowmass, Jackson Hole and Mammoth, as well as
a buffet of resorts in Utah.

Make sure you have a look at our competition in this issue — as
some lucky family will win a trip to Utah, skiing at Snowbasin and

Closer to home, we stop over in Canberra, a great place to break
up a family ski trip. We visit Thredbo, and look at the various lesson
options at some of our favourite Australian resorts. In New Zealand,
we have a look at the ski towns that are excellent bases for a ski or
snowboard trip, and stop in at Cardrona Alpine Resort, home to
several New Zealand champions.

We interview some of our Olympic champions, look at the
Interschools calendar, have tips on insurance, driving on snowy
roads, as well as what to wear.

Speaking of which, | am off to try on my ski gear (gulp).
