RESUMEN
La presente investigación tuvo como propósito principal conocer el
significado de la Afrodescendencia en estudiantes adolescentes en el L.N.B
Antonio Herrera Toro. Se tomó como objeto de estudio principalmente a tres
estudiantes de bachillerato, a los cuales se les realizaron una serie de
entrevistas en profundidad ya que se trata de un estudio de casos. El
“paradigma interpretativo” es el que ayudó también a fundamentar el método
describiéndolo en su dimensión ontológica (naturaleza del objeto),
dimensión epistemológica (naturaleza que existe entre el investigador y lo
que se investiga) y su dimensión metodológica (los pasos que utilizó el
investigador para descubrir el objeto o fenómeno que se estudia), estos
contribuyeron al desarrollo y evolución de la investigación y fundamentaron la
utilización del método escogido. Igualmente la investigación siguió los
patrones del enfoque cualitativo, el cual está basado en la realidad, guiado a
descubrir las cosas tal y como son (esencia), y que se define como un
enfoque descriptivo e inductivo.

ABSTRACT
The current investigation had as a main purpose to know the meaning of the
Afro-descendance in teenage students in the school which is named Antonio
Herrera Toro. The investigator took as a study object three students of high
school which were specially selected and this person made them a serious of
depth interviews since this is a case of study. The “interpretative paradigm” is
the one which also helped to substantiate the method that was used
describing it in its ontological dimension (nature of the study), epistemological
dimension (nature that exists between the investigator and what it is going to
be investigated) and its methodological dimension (steps which were used by
the investigator to find out the object of phenomenon that is studied), these
contributed the development and evolution of the investigation and justifying
the use of the method chosen. Alike the investigation followed the patterns of
the qualitative approach which is based in reality guided to discover things as
they are (essence), and who is described as a descriptive and inductive
approach.
