The United States, pursuant to lawful procedures, certified the Respondent as a sexually dangerous person under 18 U.S.C. § 4248. 2. Upon a more detailed review and evaluation of Respondent’s condition, the United States is proceeding with certification under 18 U.S.C. § 4246. 3. The parties agree to the dismissal of the § 4248 action against Respondent because of the pending case against Respondent pursuant to § 4246.
