WHEREAS, In The 1995 Fall Semester majority of this fund has already been allocated in the Club Sport Account and all of the club sports have not presented a budget. Therefore we may have to limit some clubs where we were able to give full funding to other clubs. WHEREAS, This may or may not be a problem in the future, but with each club asking for more each year and the account staying the same it is feasible that at some point in time it could. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That next year, on the fourth SGA meeting of the new government, we request a representative from each club be present with a proposed budget so that we will be able to better plan for the allocation of the funds fairly. Downey natft November 15. 1995 WHEREAS, the students of Northwestern State University have experienced numerous difficulties and hardships in pre-registering under the present system, WHEREAS, one of the main problems in pre-registering under the current system is that students must wait until the actual day of pre-registration to receive their schedule cards, WHEREAS some faculty and other members of the university register students before schedule cards are issued creating a situation of inequality by allowing some students to register before others, THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED, the schedule cards required to pre-register be available to students at least two days prior to pre-registration so that problems that may obstruct the registration process can be alleviated during this time (i.e. academic holds and non-academic hoi placed on a student). Furthermore, faculty and departments should be unable to access the computer screen used to pre-register students until eight o'clock the morning of pre-registenng.
