Prayer of St. Francis.. 118 Philosophy St. Francis of Assisi Montessori School of Cainta believes that the right values are the most important foundation of a successful and happy life and the key to the positive transformation of society. The holy saints and enlightened leaders throughout history taught us that intelligence without values is dangerous and knowledge without wisdom is destructive. Many problems such as corruption in government, greed in corporations and wars are caused by humans who had great intelligence, talent and skill but possessed the wrong values. Saint Francis of Assisi had intelligence, high status and great wealth but later realised that a person cannot live a truly meaningful life without the right values, love for others and God. To produce bright students who embody the core values of St. Francis of Assisi. These individuals are hard working, self-aware, and have a deep love and respect for God and for others. It is our hope that these enlightened young men and women will bring positive change in their families, society and the world. 1 y_y ongratulations graduates for having met head on the rigorous academic, social and emotional challenges of your final year. I hope that your study in St. Francis of Assisi Montessori School of Cainta was fruitful and instilled in you the skills, knowledge and values you need to become successful in your future undertakings. Graduation is a very special moment for every student. It marks the end of a familiar journey and the beginning of a new and exciting one. In this spirit, I would like to share with you three simple but powerful lessons that I hope you will find useful in your path to find success and happiness in life. These are just 3 simple lessons but tried and tested from the experience of other successful people who have gone before you. First, the main ingredient of success is to work hard. You maybe intelligent, you maybe talented but you cannot do great things in your life if you do not put great effort in what you do. There are many talented but unsuccessful people in this world. Great achievements require great effort. Lesson two. Do not be afraid to make mistakes; do not be afraid to fail. If you look at the life story of many successful people you will see that they their lives are full of failures and mistakes but they never gave up until they succeed. Finally lesson three; always bring God in your life. God is the source of all intelligence and wisdom. He is the best teacher. We sometimes forget about him but he is always besides you, never leaving you. So why not ask for his help and guidance when you have problems in you life ? In times of great trial he is a great anchor and support so always seek his guidance. I wish to congratulate all the students, parents, and teachers for job well done. It has been a difficult journey to graduation and that is a good because anything that has great s difficult to obtain. Adryan R. Villanueva President V^y ongratulations! I'm very happy and at the same time sad to see another hatch of students graduate from our SFAMSC family. I wish to take this chance to remind you the core values the school have taught you. Diligence, as you enter into this new phase in your lives you will meet new friends and face new challenges. I know many of you have dreams and aspirations for the future. Do not be afraid because you can achieve anything if you work smart enough and hard enough. It does not matter what goal, if it is love, friendship, high grades, or an ambition. If you work hard enough and if it is pleasing to God, then you will achieve it. Compassion and kindness, in your life you will meet many kinds of people. Some of them will treat you well and some of them will give you a hard time. There will even be a time were even your best friends will cause you sadness and disappointment. You will be sad, angry, and even bitter but eventually you must understand and forgive them. Believe it or not, a person with grudges or "tampo" can never be happy. If you feel you can't do it, ask God for help, he will give you a hand. Be kind to others and yourself. Help the needy but more importantly show kindness to your family, friends, and even enemies for God said that how we treat others is how we treat him. Finally, know yourself. To become a better person the first step is to honestly examine yourself regularly. Before you sleep while you pray, keep account of all the good things and bad things you have done during the day. How did you feel and what were you thinking when you did the good things? How did you feel and what were you thinking when you did something bad? Through reflection you can be aware and lessen your bad deeds while making your good ones a habit. So as you go to your next stage in life, I hope that you remember not only the academic lessons but also the moral values we have taught you. Unlike the knowledge of the world, the values of St. Francis are timeless and will serve you throughout the rest of your life. Clutch them tightly onto your hearts and never forget them for they are the keys that will help you understand God's will and unlock the happiness you are seeking. Mnn, nUr Heavenly Father guild you and bless you all in your next chapter in life! Aurora R. Villanueva Administrator ¥ * 3 Message to the Graduates our dreams can come true...if we have the courage to pursue them."
