She is also Senior Lecturer, De- partment of Education and Clinical Associate Professor, Depart- ment of Psychiatry, the University of Chicago. Dr. Sanders has authored a number of publications applying psychoanalytic theory to work with children in social settings, including A Greenhouse for the Mind, which deals primarily with education. Barry L. Childress, MD, is a child analyst in private practice in Chicago, Illinois. He is on the faculty of the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis where he is Co-Director of the Child and Adoles- cent Psychotherapy Training Program (CAPT).and a member of the Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis Committee. Dr. Childress has, for many years, consulted in the community, particularly with agencies serving families who have been involved with abused or neglected children.
