The W. Molson Cup This award is presented to the most valuable player on the Senior football team who has displayed excellent sportsmanship, conduct and leadership in combination with proficient athletic skills. The Coaches' Award This award is presented to the most promising returning Senior or Midget rugby player who, in the eye ofthe coaches, has displayed outstanding skills and character on the field. Martin Borner Memorial Cup J.F. This award is presented to the outstanding rugby player ofthe year who has best displayed excellent sportsmanship, conduct and leadership in combination with proficient athletic skills. Pick up hockey afterschool Individual Awards The Brian Taylor Memorial Trophy This award is presented to the most valuable player on the Junior School Hockey team who has displayed excellent sportsmanship, conduct and leadership in combination with proficient athletic skills. Most Improved Player Awards (awarded by sport) Awarded to the student ofa Senior School team who has best displayed excellent sportsmanship and conduct, in combination with developing his athletic skills. Most Valuable Player Awards (awarded by sport) Awarded to the student ofa school team who has best displayed excellent sportsmanship, conduct and leadership in combination with proficient athletic skills. Individual Awards The Cassils Memorial Cup This award is presented to the Middle School's most outstanding athlete. This Grade 7 student has been judged by the Athletic Staff to have demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship, leadership, skill and enthusiasm throughout the year. McMaster Memorial Sportsman Cup This award is presented to the school's most outstanding athlete. This graduating student has been judged by the Athletic Staffto have demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship, leadership, skill, and enthusiasm throughout the year. The Selwyn House Sportsman's Guild The Sportsman's Guild is an honorary association established in 1976 for the purpose ofextending recognition to individuals who have made truly outstanding contributions to the school's athletic programme. Candidates for election to the Guild are to be considered on the basis ofsuccess in team involvement, overall enthusiasm, effort, good example and sportsmanship. The Physical Education Department Award These awards are presented to the student or students who have contributed unselfishly their time to assist the teachers and coaches ofthe Physical Education Department. Norsworthy Challenge Trophy This trophy is presented to the winner ofthe annual football game between Bishop's College School and Selwyn House School. The Matthew Ullman Cup This cup is presented to the winner ofthe annual rugby competition between Bishop's College School and Selwyn House School. The Nicolas Matossian Memorial Footbal Trophy This award is presented annually to the winner ofthe series football competition at all levels between Lower Canada College and Selwyn House School.
