Mrs. Linda Horton. Not only has Mrs. Horton been essential to us in our Algebra and Geometry classes, she has also been our outstanding class advisor for the past four years. Without ever complaining, she organized all of our class activities, stayed with us after school whenever we needed her, and never hesitated to give us her time and creative ideas. She has always been there for us when we need answers to our questions. Mrs. Horton cares about how we are doing, and has always taken the time to listen and to explain. She is a teacher who goes above and beyond the call of duty without question. We will leave her regretfully. Thank you again, Mrs. Horton. ie To Mr. Mooney We thank you for your belief that we can always be better, and for helping us to achieve our goals. You started and organized the Pride Committee, which has enlivened the corridors and brought spirit and pride back into our school. You push us as a coach: to run the miles, to go the distance, to want success. You bring enthusiasm and life to history and make it fun. We will always feel your influence in the classroom and on the playing field. ~To Mrs. McDonald We thank you for your love of Eng- ish and of us. It is easy to see how ‘much you care about your subject, # and how much you want us to love it as you do. You are excited about the world, and you do not hesitate to share your experiences with us. You treat us with respect and as adults. We know that your door is always open to us: to ask for help, for advice on college essays, or simply to talk. We will always remember your vi- brant style, your interest in us, and s your belief in the beauty of language § and books. To Mr. Nelson We thank you for being a perceptive, understanding, and diplomatic ad- ministrator. You have helped us through tough times this year, and were always able to rise to the oc- casion with grace. We appreciate the outstanding job you did as acting principal. You always seem to know what’s going on in our lives without being told, and you go out of your way to assist us in all of our requests. You go beyond the rules of the school to deal with us on a personal level, balancing discipline and understand- ing admirably.
