Searching for Eternity. Photo — Dr. Carlos Koloffon About The Author D r. Don Morse is Professor Emeritus at Temple University in Philadelphia. He has graduate degrees in dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), microbiology, clinical psychology, and clinical nutrition. Dr. Morse has been the principal investigator in many research projects involving hypnosis, meditation, acupuncture, and brain wave synchro­ nizers (BWS). Dr. Morse has written over 200 scientific articles and twelve books, including 9 non-fiction books — 7 of which are on stress and its management. His latest is Electronic Pharmacy of the Mind: Use of Brain Wave Synchronizers and Other Relaxation Methods to Control Stress. He has also written three medical mystery novels (Deadly Reaction, Eye to Eye and Lethal Penetration). In addition to Searching for Eternity: A Scientist's Spiritual Journey to Overcome Death Anxiety, two other books are currently being com­ pleted by Dr. Morse: It's A Zoo Out There is a humorous, illustrated animal saying book (with Dr. Marvin Herring). A fourth medical mystery novel, Malpractice, is about to be submitted for publication. Dr. Morse was President of the Philadelphia Society for Clinical Hypnosis for two years and was Editor-in-Chief of The International Journal of Psychosomatics for ten years. He is presently Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Religion and Psychical Research. Dr. Morse has given courses in hypnosis, meditation, BWS, relaxation therapy, stress management, and dealing with death anxiety throughout the United States and in 28 other countries. He is happily married to Diane (for 43 years), has three children, Andrew, Brian and Caryn and four grandchildren, Danielle, Justin, Geoffrey and Monica.
