Chairman Julian Bond once again went on another rant, saying, "The Republican Party
‘would have the American flag and the swastika flying side by side.” He also compared
Bush's judicial nominees to the Taliban. I must ask, where's the outrage? Where's the
condemnation from liberal leaders? Where are the headlines that accompany stupid
statements by conservatives like Pat Robertson? Bond and the NAACP are a disgrace to
America and ought to be repudiated by all those who care about racial equality and racial
reconciliation. Memo to Chairman Bond-the 1960s are over.
