His morning walk at Kamala Nehru Park and light vegetarian meals during the day is the secret to his fitness, which he practises even now! He is also a great fan of cricket and watched Test matches at the Brabourne Stadium. “However, his main admirable traits are contentment, punctuality, honesty, dedication and integrity. Suparna Ajgaonkar, the school’s Director, received the Rotary delegation in her office. After exchanging pleasantries, the delegation was informed about the current activities at the school and the budgetary expectations. Following a tete-a-tete over tea and biscuits, Rtn Anand handed over a cheque of `50,000 as a donation from the Rotary Club of Bombay Mid-Town (RCBMT) to the school, which was gratefully received. Rtn Anand stated that RCBMT shall continue to support the school. Ajgaonkar showed the delegation albums of the previous visits by members of the Rotary Club. This brought back memories of RCBMT's continuous support to the school over several decades. She led the entourage to inspect the various sections and activities of the school, including computer training, the science laboratory, the Braille class, the library, the hobby centre, the music and dance venue and the gymnasium. At the end of the tour, the delegation was served snacks prepared by the visually challenged students. KMDSB imparts academic education from pre-school to college, and has hostel facilities for visually challenged girls hailing from various socio-economic backgrounds without any consideration of caste, creed or religion. – Rtn Naren Mohatta Vol 48 • Issue 04 • OCTOBER 2015 For Private Circulation District GRoIv PerrCnelousirbd | e PSnrUet Bs| iKHdeRAn SRtH A| RVKPUIN LADKNRAAARNNNVDIol 48D • IIsSsuTe R03I C• STe p3te1m4be0r 2| 0C15LUB 15496 For Private Circulation District GoRvIe PCrrnleuosbri d |P SerenUstBi |dH KeAnRSt R H| AR KVPU IANLNKDAARRNANDNIDISTRICT 3140 | CLUB 15496 District GoRveCI rPlnuroebrs Pi|d rSeeUsniBtd H|e KnARtS | H RR AKPVU AILNNKDAARNRADNNIDISVTolR 4I8C • TIss 3ue1 024 •0 A |U GCULSUT 2B01 155496 For Private Circulation Dr Deepak Garg A yopuanr gex Rcoetllaerniacne RamgAo Rpotaarila nM 10e0sh ytreroanargs OCTOBER 2015 1 Mid-Town Bulletin A hardAwBbtoohrmeuk iRbnzoagayt am Mrrey iZmd C-albTuoekbwr oionrff SEPTEMBER 2015 1 Mid-Town Bulletin AUGUST 2015 1 Mid-Town Bulletin Mid-Town Bulletin, the official magazine of the Rotary Club of Bombay Mid- Town is inviting members and non-members alike to advertise with us.
