Sundays 4 A Message from the Chairman Dear Members of the Media: On behalf of The Stronach Group, I am pleased to present Santa Anita Park's 2015-2016 Media Guide. The past year saw a number of highlights at The Great Race Place. We posted a year-over-year increase in both on-track attendance and pari-mutuel handle. We also held a highly successful Autumn Meet and we continued to offer our customers a wide variety of entertainment options in addition to world-class horse racing. We are excited to welcome back Joe Morris as Senior Vice- President of West Coast Operations for The Stronach Group. In this role, Joe will oversee day-to-day operations at Santa Anita Park as well as Golden Gate Fields, where he previously served as General Manager, and San Luis Rey Training Center. Joe will be invaluable in helping us further enhance the facilities and the racing experience at Santa Anita Park. The management and employees of Santa Anita Park remain committed to providing our customers with the world’s best live horse racing and wagering. Looking ahead, we are proud to once again host the Breeders’ Cup World Championships in 2016 – an unprecedented ninth time that this prestigious event will take place here at Santa Anita Park. In closing, I wish to thank you for your continued coverage and I look forward to seeing you at the racetrack for another year of exciting racing!
