Autism Services Program Autism Resource Guide 78 February 2016 Autism Services Program Autism Resource Guide Any Baby Can of San Antonio is a non-profit agency and all services are provided free of charge – regardless of income – to families who have a child birth through 17 years of age with a chronic illness, disability, developmental delay or health risk. The child must reside in Bexar, Atascosa, Bandera, Blanco, Caldwell, Comal, Edwards, Frio, Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Medina, Real, Uvalde or Wilson County. Please call the Any Baby Can main office to access the assistance of a case manager who can provide useful service coordination to guide you and your family through the many available resources This valuable Autism Resource Guide has been compiled by the staff of the Autism Services Program at Any Baby Can. The information is collected from community members and many parents of children with autism who have found useful services and supports in our area. The goal of this resource guide is to provide families with all available information so that they can make the most informed decisions regarding their child with autism spectrum disorder. Please feel free share this guide with anyone interested. Check our website for monthly updates, www.anybabycansa.org. Resources are constantly evolving, please contact Rachel Vargas-Trevino at Any Baby Can for additions or send changes via email [email protected] or phone (210) 547-3013. We encourage parents and professionals to contact us regarding additions or deletions to the resource guide. The Autism Services Guide is a roadmap for services in our community. This is a guide to direct you in the recommended order to access resources in San Antonio once a child is diagnosed with autism. The intent of the chart is to give you a list of categories and the suggested order to access those services. This is not a representation of all available resources and is intended to serve as a helpful guide. You may access services in the order of what you and your family find most important, and you may find other resources that better fit your child/family’s needs. We hope that you find this resource guide helpful in learning what services are available to you and your family. Please feel free to share this with others that may be in need, and visit our website www.anybabycansa.org or call (210) 227-0170 for more information.
