Cristie Will APPETIZERS & 1 SNACKS AL GORES HANGING CHAD MIXIN IT UP PARMESAN CHEESE CHEX MIX Ingredients: 3-cups Corn Chex cereal 3-cups Rice Chex cereal 3-cups Wheat Chex Cereal 2-cups Pretzels, small 2-cups Cheese crackers, small 4-tablespoons Butter, melted 1-packet Cristie’s Cookin Ring It Ranch Seasoning ¾-cup Parmesan cheese, grated ½-cup Mixed nuts Instructions: Combine cereal, pretzels and crackers in a large plastic container with a lid. Mix melted butter, Ring It Ranch seasoning mix and cheese. Pour butter mixture over cereal mixture; mix well and serve. Makes 13 one cup servings ANOTHER DEMO FAILURE HAWAII GAS PRICE CAP PINEAPPLE BURGER BITES Ingredients: 1-pound Beef, ground 2-cups Pineapple chunks 1-teaspoon Salt Instructions: Preheat grill to 350°. Mix salt with beef and form hamburger patties. Grill about 7 minutes on each side or until done. Remove patties from grill and cut into bite size pieces, about 1-inch pieces and top with pineapple chunk; poke with toothpick and serve. These are really simple, but delicious. BARBARA BOXERS BITCHIN CRAB CAKES Ingredients: 1-tablespoon Butter -cup Onion, finely chopped -cup Celery, chopped -cup Bell pepper, chopped 1-cup Bread crumbs, soft ½-cup Bisquick 1-teaspoon Pepper 1-teaspoon Salt 2-large Eggs, slightly beaten 14-ounces Crabmeat, chopped 1-cup Cocktail sauce Instructions: Preheat oven to 400°; spray 2 cookie sheets with cooking spray. Melt butter in medium skillet over medium heat. Cook onion, celery, and bell pepper in butter about 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender. Mix vegetable mixture and remaining ingredients except cocktail sauce. Shape mixture into small patties and place on cookie sheets. Bake about 12 minutes, turning once, until golden brown and serve with cocktail sauce. BARBARA BOXER’S NOT SO NICE SUGAR & SPICE DIP Ingredients: ¼-cup 1-teaspoon 6-ounces 6-ounces Instructions: Brown sugar, packed Cinnamon Yogurt, vanilla Cream cheese, softened In a medium bowl, combine yogurt and cream cheese; stir in brown sugar and cinnamon. Serve with fruit of your choice. Makes about 1¼-cups BILL CLINTON’S DON’T ASK DON’T TELL HUSHPUPPIES Ingredients: 1-cup Corn meal, self rising 1-cup Flour, self rising 1-tablespoon Sugar 1-small Onion, finely chopped 1-large Egg, beaten ¾-cup Milk 1-medium Onion, finely chopped 3-tablespoons Honey Instructions: Mix dry ingredients. Add egg, milk, corn, honey and onion. Drop by the spoonfuls in deep fry and fry at 375 degrees. Fry until brown, drain on paper towel. Serve hot with dipping sauce, salad dressing or maple syrup. Serves 6 to 8 CLINTON’S ANTI AMERICAN EX-PREZ’S CHEESY OLIVE BREAD Ingredients: 2-cups (8-ounces) Shredded cheddar cheese, no American cheese 5-ounces Olive-pimiento cheese spread 4-ounces Green chili’s, chopped with juice ¼-cup Mayonnaise ½-teaspoon Onion powder ¼-cup Black olives, sliced ¼-cup Green olives with pimento’s, sliced 1-loaf French bread, unsliced (cut horizontally in half) Instructions: Preheat grill for indirect-heat cooking. Combine all the ingredients except bread and olives in a medium bowl. Place bread with cut sides down on grill. Cover grill; cook over mediumlow heat 3 to 5 minutes or until toasted. Remove bread; place on cookie sheet; spread cheese mixture over toasted sides of bread. Place bread cheese sides up on grill; cover grill; cook for another 5 to 7 minutes or until cheese is hot and melted. Top with olives; cut bread into 16 slices and serve. DEMOCRATS HIGH INTEREST LOW RETURN UNION PIZZA DIP Ingredients: 8-ounces Cream cheese, softened ½-cup Pizza sauce 1-tablespoon Garlic, minced 1-tablespoon Italian seasoning ½-cup Pepperoni, chopped 2¼-ounces Ripe olives, sliced & drained -cup Green olives, sliced -cup Onion, chopped ½-cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded 1-bag Tortilla chips Instructions: Preheat oven to broil. Spread cream cheese over a 12-inch round ovenproof plate. Combine pizza sauce, garlic, and Italian seasoning; spread over cream cheese. Top with black olives, green olives, pepperoni, and onions. Add Mozzarella cheese. Place in oven and broil about 4-inches from heat and heat for
