Upgrade Notes Akkadian Labs does extensive testing on all our upgrades, but we suggest you take the following precautions before upgrading. Perform a Manual Backup: 1. Log in as PMEAdmin or as an Administrator 2. Select Backup and Restore from the System menu 3. Click Backup and save the file to a safe location Take a VMWare Snapshot (Optional): This step is optional, but it will allow you to easily roll back to the previous version without having to redeploy the aPME OVA. 1. Power down the aPME Virtual Machine 2. Right click on the Virtual Machine and select > Snapshot > Take Snapshot. 3. Type a name for the snapshot. 4. Type a description for the snapshot. Please note starting with version 4.9.04, aPME is no longer supported on Windows. aPME for Windows can easily be migrated to Linux using the backup and restore process. All clusters, including Unity Connection must be synchronized after performing the upgrade or provisioning will not function properly Support for Upgrading from Previous Versions of aPME aPME 4.9.06 supports direct upgrades from the following version of aPME:  aPME 4.7.02 and above akkadian Provisioning Manager Express Version 4.9.06 Release Notes – 3/2/2017 4 aPME 4.9.06 supports upgrades from the following version of aPME with the addition of a pre-upgrade patch:  aPME 4.1.08  aPME 4.5.02  aPME 4.6.02, 4.6.04, 4.6.06 & 4.6.08 Prior to upgrading from any release requiring the pre-upgrade patch, please download the respective patch here: aPME for Windows - Download Patch here aPME for Linux- Download Patch here akkadian Provisioning Manager Express Version 4.9.06 Release Notes – 3/2/2017 5 4.9.06 - New and Changed Features Visual Phone Editor Enhancement Visual Phone Editor has been updated to support moving Line 1.
