Thisguide outlinesRelativity’scapabilitiesandwalksyouthroughhowyoucanbestuse Relativityfor documentreview, from logging intocreating a wordindex inside a workspace. 1.1 Navigation Relativityisa complex applicationwithmanyscreensandfunctions.Thissectiondescribesthe main core reviewer interface youuse toreviewdocumentsaswell assome of the standardprocedures you'll needtoperform asyouuse the product. 1.1.1 Logging in Tolog intoRelativity, browse toyour Relativitywebsite.If youdon'tknowthe correctaddress, contactyour Relativityadministrator.After youenter the address, the loginscreenappears. Enter your email addressandpassword.If youdon'tknowyour logininformation, contactyour Relativityadministrator. 1.1.2 User options Whenyoufirstlog intoRelativity, yousee a listof your workspaces.Youcanclickyour name inthe upper-rightcorner tosee the mode drop-downmenu. SeeVieweronpage 63fordetails. n Advanced Search Publicby Default-determineswhethersavedsearchesarepublicorprivateby default.IfsettoYes,thesearchispublicandalluserswithrightstoitcanseeit.IfsettingisNo,the searchisprivateandonlyyouareabletoseeit. Note:Dependingonyourpermissions,youmaynothaverightstoedittheAdvancedSearchDefault field. n NativeViewerCacheAhead-ifchecked,pre-loadsthenextnativedocumentinyourreviewqueue oncetheactivedocumentisloaded. n DataFocus-determineswhetheryourdefaultsettingistoshoworhidetheworkspacenameinthe interface.DataFocusOnhidestheworkspacenameatthetopleftandallowsmorespaceinthewin- dowfordatainformation.DataFocusOffshowstheworkspacename.YoucanalsotoggletheData FocussettingdirectlyfromtheModemenu. After changing your settingsasneeded, clickSave. 1.1.3 Core reviewer interface Toopena documentinthe core reviewer interface, clickona documentname or identifier onthe Documentstab. The core reviewer interface screenconsistsof four panes:persistenthighlightsets(if activated), viewer, layouts, andthe relateditemspane. Relativity|User Guide - 8 Youcantoggle betweenseveral viewing optionsbyusing the iconsinthe upper-rightcorner of the window. Youcanmove througha setof documentsbyusing the navigationmenulocatedinthe upper-right corner of the core reviewer interface. Youcantype a number intothe textbox andhitEnter tomove tothatdocument.Youcanalsouse the navigationarrows: Topoffirstpage Previouspage Nextpage Lastpage Youcan'tbrowse pastthe lastdocumentinyour returnedset.For example, inthe above screenshot, youcan'tuse the navigationarrowstogettodocument1,001. Relativity|User Guide - 9 1.1.4 Resetting your password There are twowaysyoucanresetyour passwordif your administrator hasgivenyouthe appropriate permissions.Youcanuse the Reset Password optioninside Relativityor the Forgot your password? linkonthe Relativityloginscreen. Note:Ifyourpasswordhasexpired,theResetPassworddialogappearsautomaticallywhenyouloginto Relativity.Yoursystemadministratordetermineswhenyourpasswordexpiresandthenumberofprevious passwordsthatyoucan'treuse. 1.1.4.1 Resetting your password inside Relativity If you're alreadyloggedintoRelativity, youcanresetyour passwordbyclicking Reset Password in the mode drop-downmenu.Thisdirectsyoutoa ResetPasswordpopup. Enter your oldpassword, thenenter andretype your newpassword.ClickSave. Youcanuse your newpasswordnexttime youlog intoRelativity. 1.1.4.2 Resetting your password outside Relativity If youcan'tlog intoRelativitybecause you've forgottenyour password, perform the following steps toresetyour password. 1.
