Assembled over the past forty years, they were selected with great care and an eye for original condition where possible. To this end copies were sought far and wide including from some of the great collections that went to auction in the U.K. and the U.S.A. during this period. The result has been a collection with distinguished provenances and many copies in original boards or parts. We are proud to offer the present selection and believe that it presents a wonderful opportunity to buy outstanding examples of some of the finest illustrated books of the past 200 years.
