Rebel Angels IN Exile “If it is true that the Urantia Revelation accurately depicts our prehistory, then this new volume—like the previous two in the series—is an astonishing revelation in its own right. The high drama and vivid characters he depicts riveted my attention from beginning to the end.” BYRON BELITSOS, AWARD-WINNING PUBLISHER AND COAUTHOR OF THE ADVENTURE OF BEING HUMAN “Timothy has done us all an important favor by sharing his well-developed, extensive, and carefully considered personal cosmology in his many books. Based in part on the Urantia framework, he has taken its concepts and made them relevant and accessible for us all. His personal stories illustrate esoteric concepts in remarkable ways. The power of the elegant artistry in his words is reflected in the memes he has created that have become part of our current culture. Timothy Wyllie is an important and underappreciated elder who has much to offer anyone who takes the time to read his works.” SCOTT TAYLOR, AUTHOR OF SOULS OF THE SEA: DOLPHINS, WHALES, AND HUMAN DESTINY PRAISE FOR OTHER WORKS BY TIMOTHY WYLLIE “Confessions of a Rebel Angel is Timothy Wyllie’s magnum opus. This saga is brilliant, arresting, and fulfilling, a true story of the esoteric secrets that fester in the human heart that are now awakening the human spirit. Georgia, a juicy and witty rebel angel, comes to us through Wyllie’s engrossing and engaging prose—a totally balanced story of humankind’s evolution and struggles with the forces of the dark and the light. If you want the real truth about the fallen angels, read this book!” BARBARA HAND CLOW, AUTHOR OF AWAKENING THE PLANETARY MIND: BEYOND THE TRAUMA OF THE PAST TO A NEW ERA OF CREATIVITY “Read The Return of the Rebel Angels! Timothy Wyllie’s mammoth reconfiguration of humankind’s imprinted perceptions rips apart concepts and questions, dissolving the mysterious shadow worlds and interlaced realms of science to brilliantly expose its reluctant but imminent surrender to strings of holographic universes he calls the Multiverse. Once reason is defeated the fun really starts as Wyllie’s writing explodes joyously, using The Urantia Book as a cornerstone for comprehension of the past and all futures. Suddenly his proposition seems eminently plausible. Quite a mindblower . . . it’s a delicious meal of mind and vision.” GENESIS BREYER P-ORRIDGE, AUTHOR OF THEE PSYCHICK BIBLE AND 30 YEARS OF BEING CUT-UP “Revolt of the Rebel Angels and its series is recommended to everyone who is interested in where we have been and where we are going as a planet and as individuals. It will explain a little of what is out there. Once again I can hardly wait for the next volume.” NEW DAWN MAGAZINE Whereas angels were once the epitome of beauty and goodness, now, in our time, they are irrelevant. Materialism and science have banished them to nonexistence, a sphere as indeterminate as purgatory. It used to be that humanity believed in angels implicitly, intuitively, not with our minds but with our very souls. Now we need proof. We need material, scientific data that will verify without a doubt their reality. Yet what a crisis would occur if the proof existed! What would happen, do you suppose, if the material existence of angels could be verified? DANIELLE TRUSSONI, ANGELOLOGY The Gnostics might well have said: We who are in the know, who think for ourselves and see through the sham, have been enlightened by a hidden God far above, who is free of all this impossible system under which the world suffers. This hidden God frees us—He does not enslave us. JAMES M. ROBINSON, THE SECRETS OF JUDAS Acknowledgments Although it might seem odd to some, my most heartfelt appreciation must first go to the Watcher Georgia, who came into my life just when I thought I’d completed the obligation I’d taken on to write the three books of The DETA Factor. It was to be one book every ten years to explore and record the impact nonhuman intelligences were having at this crucial point in Earth’s history. Then I could get out of this writing business and back to my drawing board. But along came Georgia with her need and desire to tell all. How could I possibly refuse?! This series of Georgia’s Confessions, of which this book, Rebel Angels in Exile, is the third volume, have been an all-consuming passion for me these past few years, so I’ve appreciated the work that Anne Dillon, who edited my previous books, has put into this volume. Celestial and interplanetary politics are complex and not easy to grasp, so Anne’s input has been an invaluable help in showing what needs further clarification. Once again I’ve been fortunate to work with my project editor, Chanc VanWinkle Orzell, who not only appears adept at keeping an improbable number of balls in the air simultaneously, bringing the focus of a ballet dancer and a sensitive, first-class intelligence to bear on the final and most important stage of the editing process. She pulls it all together, and quite magically (from a writer’s point of view) she is guaranteed to improve it. Many thanks, Chanc, for your patience and caring, and I look forward to working with you again if we have the opportunity. As I’ve done with Georgia’s previous books, I sent this volume in manuscript form to Susan P. Marie for her to dowse each sentence and concept in Georgia’s reporting for its truth content. I find this helpful and encouraging when there are only a small handful of queries in a book. Writing as I do with Georgia has some of the qualities of skydiving (the faith it’s going to work this time); surfing (the confidence to think I can stay on the wave); and tight-rope walking (it’s all a question of balance), so I’m indebted to Susan for her encouragement in uncharted territories. It was in the latter part of this volume that her dowsing showed positive on one of Georgia’s most intriguing speculations—one I hardly dared think might be so—a revelation that deeply affects every one of us. Robert Davis of the Daynal Institute is one of the few people who has read all Georgia’s volumes to date and has been consistently encouraging for the work to get into print. Robert’s profound and unique understanding of that most difficult of cosmologies, The Urantia Book, and his approval of Georgia’s insights and the questions she seeks to tease out of history have helped give me courage to continue. As my avocation is graphic art I always like to drop in a handful of my graphic pieces that I find can connect with the reader, sometimes in a more direct way. I also include two of the more elaborate graphics (plates 3 and 5) that Juno (June Atkin Sanders)—my beloved “Artner”—and I do collaboratively. These are large Prismacolor on watercolor paper that we send back and forth through snail mail, each adding our contributions until it’s finished. Juno and I have been working together for almost thirty years, and I believe we’ve drawn out the best in one another—and that could not make me happier or more grateful. As these books of Georgia’s are gaining a readership, I’ve started to receive the most supportive and encouraging letters from an unexpectedly wide group of people who find some resonance in her narrative and that her words are helping open up their own secret doors. As you’ve been waiting long for this volume, you’ll be likely reading these words, and, as you know who you are, I won’t mention names. But I do thank you, all of you for your open-hearted responses. Having said that, how could I not express my appreciation to Kathleen B. M.; to Jason H.; to Roberta G; Gordon P.; Martin G.; to Urszula B.; and to Magi, and Viola, and Yana; to my friends in Europe and new friends in Santa Fe; and to all my readers not mentioned, my gratitude for your encouragement and support— and keep reading. They get better by the volume. I continue to feel blessed to have my books picked up by Inner Traditions • Bear & Company, the very publisher I would have chosen had they not got to me first. For that I can thank Jon Graham, the publisher’s acquisitions editor, in particular, for recognizing the value of this work and constantly surprising me by accepting the next volume; and to John Hays, the director of sales and marketing, and his team, for having the confidence to sell them. Making a book takes many talents, some of which an author is unaware and others—like Peri Swan’s continuingly inventive cover design and Virginia Scott Bowman’s elegant text design and layout—are more visible; but regardless, I’m deeply thankful for the love and attention you put into my books. And to those who make the final decision as to whether to publish or not—to the publisher Ehud Sperling, to Jeanie Levitan, the editor in chief, and to Janet Jesso, the managing editor—goes my deepest gratitude for choosing to publish these volumes of Georgia’s Confessions when you must receive so many excellent books. I’m also most grateful to Manzanita Carpenter for the diligent work she does to publicize my books. Having once worked in that field myself, I can admire her persistence. I know what it entails. I also express my special appreciation to Barbara Hand Clow, who I sense is working behind the scenes to see these books of Georgia’s get into print. She has long been a supporter of my work, republishing my first book, Dolphins ETs & Angels, in 1992 and publishing my second, Dolphins Telepathy & Underwater Birthing, in 1993, so I was delighted and thankful she also took a liking to Georgia’s writings. It may seem a little ingenuous to thank Georgia when she herself is so thankful to have an outlet for her words and that she can be of help to others, but I’m thankful to her anyway. Neither of us could have written it without the other. And I’ve been writing with angels long enough to know the help I receive from them over the long and lonely haul of writing books. Whether I perceive you or not, I know you’re there, and I thank all of you, my invisible allies, for your love and the constancy of your enthusiasm. As readers will know from my books over the past thirty years, as well as from the work of others who can see beneath the fear and confusion of everyday life, I have no doubt we’ve chosen to incarnate on Earth at this absolutely fulcrum point in human development. To all appearances, life is getting worse. Yet if I read Georgia correctly there are now well over one hundred million rebel angels incarnated as human beings, and as each wakes up to her or his true heritage and their reason for being here, the helping hand the planet so desperately needs will reveal itself, as naturally as a flower opening, to effect a transformation so gentle and profound we’ll laugh at our preposterous fantasies of Armageddon. And for knowing that I am truly grateful to my angels. Note to the Reader Regarding a Glossary of Terms and the Angelic Cosmology In this work the author has coined or provided specialized definitions of certain words, some of which are derived from The Urantia Book, a key source text. A list of these terms and their meanings has been provided in the glossary at the back of this book for your ready reference. The reader will find a brief overview of the Angelic Cosmology, also drawn from The Urantia Book, in the appendix.
