The module is performed in four kinds of directions in terms of: 1) Understanding the test format of the Reading Comprehension section, 2) Understanding the lay-out of various kinds of texts/reading materials, 3) Understanding on the reading technical potentially applied in doing the test such as speed reading, skimming and scanning 4) Practice with time controlled on doing the Reading Comprehension test section. B. The Prerequisites To learn this module, no qualification on students is needed. Otherwise, in every learning activity, the fourth directions are strongly suggested to be learned spatially and systematically making the learning out-comes more accurate. C. The Module Instructions In order that the module is learned effectively, students need to be aware of the following details action: a. The Steps Learning the Module 1. Students would rather be better to be familiar first with the test format that is used in Reading Comprehension section of TOEIC. By knowing the entire of the test format then they know the characteristics of the test. Students would rather be better to know first the variety of reading techniques such as skimming, scanning, speed reading, and so on. By implementing those such a reading techniques, it is expected that the acceleration of reading skills acquisition among the participants are getting better so that the score increase in Reading Comprehension section is getting better too . 4. Do not draw or write anything on the test book or the answer sheet in order that the testing practice is repeatable more than once. For the last testing practice, please be sure that you comprehend the text, the questions and the explanations competently. 6. It is strongly suggested to gather discussion with the training mates to have more practical explanations. b.
