Hello all,
As you may have noticed in the state budget for FY18, the Alternatives to Abortion program was
moved over to the Department of Social Services. Beginning July 1, 2017, your new state contact for
the A2A program will be Joy Benne. Just a reminder, her phone number is [phone].
In addition to the departmental change, I have also submitted my resignation with the state of
th
Missouri. My last day in the office will be this Thursday, June 8 . Sherrece Smith will be covering the
st
program until Joy takes officially takes over on July 1 . Her number is [phone]. For all
questions, June invoices, and requests for “other” services submitted after this date, please send
them to both Joy and Sherrece. (Just a reminder for those of you who have not already submitted
your June invoices, these are due before the 14th if you want them paid due to fiscal year end
processing).
It has been a pleasure working with all of you over the last two and a half years, and I wish you all
continued success in serving the women of this state.
