(CourtesyPhoto) Farewell When you hear the word "building" what do you think of? Many people think ofa home, workplace, or a monument. Some people also think ofthe building that they spend many oftheir days in, which for most of us is high school. High school is the place that people go to nearly everyday for most oftheir young adult lives. It is a place where people make new friends, first loves, and is the end ofthe begin- ning ofone's life. Ore, Think over the past couple years, how manyfriends have you made? How many loves have you had? To almost Last Call everyone, high school is a happy place, a place to see friends and to get away from everything. High school brings back from the past. Have you ever walked by your favorite classroom and remembered all ofthe good times you had there? Have you ever stopped by your freshman locker and realized just how it actuallywas? These are the memories that shape your high school experience. High school...your last chance; your Last Call. Well, for the current high school, it really is the last call. The building that students have called "our high school" since 1963, will no longer be the place that brings together so many lives. 108 E. Garfield will no longer be a place of high school gatherings from September toJune. "[The current school is] nice and small and easy to get around in. It's a nice place to be, I'll miss it," said sophomore Kristy Skippergosh. -Leah Keller & Tess Hoaglund A12- A10-Cak/ B8-Chem/ B9-BAT/ BAT/Mgt. ComputerSci./ Physics/Sci Mgt. M M walkthrough (PhotobyRachelKanine) Hurrah Last School dictates M the social life for many. Friendships made are within the halls of this build- ing. Friday night plans are arranged right here. The bathroom girls' is * the center of all gossip. Meeting in the cafeteria is the social event of the day, and the park- ing lot is often a place to make last minute plans with friends. This build- ing holds so many memories, and if these walls could talk, they would tell of a very important time in every student's life. -TaraHazleton
