A note about the title US
On September 11, 2001, our country was attacked by terrorists. As the workday begarjFiri
New York City on that sunny fall day, two hijacked commercial airlines, flew as misslei into
j the twin towers of the'World Trade Center killing nearly 3,000 people. A third plane crashed
II into the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. killing 200. We were suddenly, tragically, reminddd
of our freedoms, our privileges and our vulnerability. In tribute, welhave taken the
| opportunity to layer our yearbook's title. In one sense, these are memories of us, ourselves.
In another sense, as United States citizens, let us always remember....
