ਸ पंजाब ਰਕਾ ਉਜਾ ਬ GOVT सत्यमेव जयते र ा क र स .O F PUNJAB Punjab Government Gazette EXTRAORDINARY Published by Authority CHANDIGARH ,M ONDAY ,7 J ANUARY 3 ,2 022 (P AUSA 13 , 1943 SAKA ) GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (H ousing -2 Branch ) NOTIFICATION The 3rd January 2022 No. 12 /0 8 /1 2-5Hg2 /1 2. -K eeping in view the reduction in gathering due to COVID -1 9 existing Marriage Palaces are allowed to be converted into Hotels where allowed as per Master Plans subject to fulfilment of following conditions : 1) Minimum site area = 1 Acre . 2 ) FAR 1 :2 3) Revised building plan will be got approved from competent authority under PUDA Building Rules . 4 ) Upto 10 % ground Coverage within Hotel Block may be used for commercial purpose . 5 ) Commercial Area will be integral part of the hotel building and not allowed to be sub divided or sold . 6 ) STP shall be competent to allow conversion and approve the building plans . 7) Fire Safety requirements within building and space for movement of fire tender around built up portion will be as given in National Building Code's Chapter on Fire Safety . It shall be verified by authority sanctioning the building plan himself /h erself and not just based on certificate from fire officer . 8) Charges already paid shall not be refunded and adjusted .
