ANNuAL LAW DAY SChOOL VISITS
Sunday, May 1, 2016 is nationally recognized as “Law
Day” and the YLD is currently seeking attorneys and
judges to volunteer to visit our local schools to commemo-
rate this event. We will be speaking at area schools between
May 2nd and May 13th.
Law Day has been a tradition since 1958 when President
Dwight D. Eisenhower proclaimed that it would strength-
en our heritage of liberty, justice, and equality under the
law. Law Day volunteers are free to speak about their area
of legal expertise, or the suggested theme this year for Law
Day, as designated by the PBA, is “Miranda: More Than
Words.” More information about this theme, including free
