Her primary area of research is Asian American immigrants’ mental health and healthcare disparities. Robert Kaplan is Advanced Senior Lecturer and Co-Principal Investigator of the Writing Research Lab in the Program in Writing and Rhetoric at Stony Brook University, State University of New York. He teaches research writing to advanced undergraduate STEM students and is a science editor for public health researchers.
