responsible for putting the strategy for all postgraduate studies and
scientific research at the academy, including engineering, computer
science, business administration, logistics, and maritime
postgraduate and research studies (Diplomas, Masters, and Doctoral
Degrees). Also, follow up all postgraduate accreditations from local

Prof. Taha is also the chairman of the Academy Supreme council for

Transport, responsible for all postgraduate specialized Diplomas,
MBA Programs, and DBA programs at the Academy. In addition,
supervising all special and non-planned training programs at the
Academy and putting the strategy for all new postgraduate programs
at the academy. Moreover, responsible for International postgraduate
programs offered jointly with international universities.

2010 – 2011 Chairman of the Egyptian National Quality Institute, responsible
for spreading and improving quality culture, concepts, and activities
in all sectors whether it is industrial, commercial or services of the
Egyptian community that complies with international standards and
criteria. NQI works with national and international organizations and
research parties to transfer information and technology related to
quality with the aim of knowing, adopting and choosing the best
ways to implement quality systems, improve productivity in the
industrial sector and promote services.
2010 – 2011 President Assistant, for Information Technology, Arab Academy
for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, responsible for
putting the IT strategy for the Academy organization units including
the different colleges, managing all colleges activities related to
information systems which is the core of all colleges transactions
starting from students admission, courses, teaching plans, class
rooms assignments, scheduling, registration, scores, results, ranking
till the graduation, in addition to supervising and manipulating of all
Academy Cairo Branch’ Information systems including, HR, payroll,
administrative, and many other activities.
2009 – 2010 Dean, Collage of International Transport & Logistics (CITL),
Cairo Branch (Sheraton Heliopolis and Dokki Branches), Egypt.
During this One year period all courses of the CITL were updated
and enhanced, the staff were carefully selected and all students,
parents, professors, staff members, employee were satisfied from
and amazed of the leadership and achievements during this one year
period.
2008 – 2010 Deputy Director General, Arab Academy for Science, Technology,
and Maritime Transport, Dokki Branch, Egypt. Based on the
noticeable achievements made by Prof. Taha when he was the dean
of the college of Management and technology at Academy Dokki
branch, he was promoted to this position to lead the branch as a
whole and enlarge his achievements to include the other colleges in
the branch (CITL) and its other organizational units. During this 2
years period of time, all buildings, class rooms of the branch were
renewed and refurbished and the branch looked completely different.
In addition, a branch of the Graduate Scholl of Business
Administration (GSBA) was founded at Dokki branch and the
branch working hours became from 7 Am to 11 PM. More than 200
graduate students were enrolled in each semester and the Academy
starts to give more attention to the branch after it was a dark point of
its branches.

During this One and Half year period all courses of the CMT were
updated with the same college branch at Alex and all courses
contents were up-to-date with the industry standards. As a feedback
of this enhancements and achievements, the staff were carefully
selected and all students, parents, professors, staff members,
employee were satisfied from and amazed of the leadership and
achievements during this one and half year period.
2004 – 2008 Chairman of e-Commerce Department, Arab Academy for
Science and Technology, Cairo Branch, Egypt. This department was
founded by Professor Taha and its students to graduate were the first
graduate in this specialization in the Arab world and the Middle
East. The contents of the courses were similar to its corresponding
departments in England and United States of America curriculum.
2001 – 2008 The Academic Advisor for the Postgraduate Studies (Techno MBA
Program), Arab Academy Graduate School of Business, Cairo,
Egypt. The first program in its type in the Academy and the Middle
East. More than 150 graduate students had graduated with MBA
from this program and most of them are getting their Ph.D.
2009 – 2011 Information Systems & Information Technology Consultant for
the League of Arab States (LAS), responsible for putting the LAS
IT strategy and supervising all LAS Portal, content management,
archiving solution, and data banks project.
2010 – 2011 Information Systems & Information Technology Consultant for
the Egyptian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Internal Trade
Development Authority (ITDA).
2006 – 2010 Information Systems & Information Technology Consultant for

e-business MBA to be implemented in the Arab world and the
Middle East. Responsible for: developing the strategy, the courses,
supervising the implementation of the program. This program was
created by professor Taha since 2008 and more than 150
postgraduate students had graduated and currently more than 200
students are enrolled in it from different Arab countries especially
from Egypt and Qatar.
