The conference aimed at bringing together the foremostexpertsandexcellentyoungresearchersfromAfrica,Europe, andtherest of the world to disseminate the latest results from various fields of engineering, information, and communication technologies. The topics, discussed at the con- ference, covered a broad range of domains spanning from ICT and engineering to prediction,modeling,andanalysisofcomplexsystems.The2015editionofAECIA featured a distinguished special track on prediction, modeling, and analysis of complex systems—Nostradamus, and special sessions on advances in image pro- cessingandcolorizationanddataprocessing, protocols, andapplicationsinwireless sensor networks. The second edition of AECIA was hosted by the AllianSTIC Laboratory at the EngineeringSchoolofDigitalSciences(ESIGETEL),Villejuif(Paris-sud),France, and took place between 9 and 11 of September. The conference was attended by participants from 25 countries and featured two plenary lectures, delivered by renown experts in their fields, Prof. Andries Engelbrecht, University of Pretoria, and Prof. Adel Alimi, University of Sfax. Two tutorials by Dr. Milos Kudelka, VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava, and Dr. Zeineb Chelly, High Institute of Management of Tunis, were held during the meeting. The organizing committee expresses deep gratitude to the members of the International Program Committee, the hosting institution, ESIGETEL, local offi- cials, the publisher of this volume and to all supporters and authors, for their impressive efforts and contribution to the success of the events.
