MedICT is a Mediterranean premier networking forum for leading researchers in the highly active fields of information and com- munication technologies. The general theme of this edition is Information and communication technologies for sustainable development of Mediterranean countries. MedICT provides an excellent international forum to the researchers and prac- titioners from both academia as well as industry to meet and share cutting-edge development.Theconferencehasalsoaspecialfocusonenablingtechnologiesfor societalchallenges,andseekstoaddressmultidisciplinarychallengesininformation and communication technologies such as health, demographic change, well-being, security, and sustainability issues.
