REPORT OF THE PROCEEDINGS

The Pennsylvania German Society
AT ITS
Forty-eighth Annual Meeting
Held at Ephrata, Pa.
October 21, 1938.
HE Forty-eighth Annual Meeting of the Pennsyl-
vania German Society was held in the Assembly
Hall of Cloister Post, American Legion, at Ephrata, Pa.,
October 21, 1938.
Business Session
The Society was called to order at 10 A. M., and in
the absence of Mr. Ralph Beaver Strassburger, the
President of the Society, Mr. Charles R. Roberts presided
as Chairman.
After introductory remarks by Mr. Roberts, the Min-
utes of the Annual iMeeting held at Kutztown, Pa., Octo-
ber 22, 1937, were read and, on motion, approved.
The Secretary read the Annual Report, as required by
the By-Laws, which included a resume of the activities
of the Board of Directors and the report of Frederick
S. Fox, the Treasurer.
