Goal / Objectives of the Prelims 2019 Test Series

The Goal of the Prelims 2019 is to take you through the full journey of preparation from a fresher to a successful candidate.
The Prelims 2019 Test Series has a unique four tier Testing system that ensures
• You build your basics well.
• You revise your basics.
• You revise the syllabus at least four times
• You atleast practise 4 CSAT papers ruling any chance of mishap

The iterations will be
• Build your basics through mini tests.
• Revise your basics through full test after a series of mini tests on a topic.
• Revise syllabus again through subject wise full test.
• Test yourself and be exam ready with 8 GS simulator tests.
The Civil Services Preliminary Examination, unlike other Government Sector Exams does not have questions merely stating facts
and choosing the correct options.
The Prelims Paper requires both
• Knowledge base (KB), as well as
• Problem solving skills, eliminating wrong options, decision making skills on what questions to leave and what to solve.

While Knowledge Base can be developed by reading standard books, the latter - problem solving skills, elimination skills
and decision
making comes with practising previous years’ papers and solving high quality simulator Test papers.

Different Deliverables and Timelines

1. Question Paper – The question paper will be available at 10:30 AM on the date of test mentioned in test calendar. Simulator
Tests will be conducted from 9:30 AM.
2. Detailed Solution – The detailed solution will be available to students after completion of tests. In online mode students will
get solution after completing the tests.
3. Classroom Discussion – There will be no classroom discussion (only video discussions) for Mini Tests (1 Hours/50
Questions). For all full length tests classroom discussion will be held after break of half an hour after the test completion
time.
4. Video Discussion – Video discussion will be uploaded in the academy portal within 24 working hours after the completion of
classroom discussion (Generally every Wednesday morning).
5. All India Ranklist – Ranklist will be generated on 7th day from test release date.

Enrolment Process & Terms and Conditions:

1. You can make the payment online at http://academy.forumias.com (recommended) or by visiting our offline guidance centre.
2. Please create an account on http://academy.forumias.com.
3. If admission taken at offline centre your account will be activated with the test series within 72 hours (only if your account on the
portal exists at the time of admission).
4. Students are free to attempt tests in either online or offline mode. They can also interchangeably attempt in online and offline
mode. One test can be attempted only in one mode. Students will be able to retake tests level 1, 2 and 3 tests from the month of
April, 19.
5. In case you miss a Test, you can write it anytime at a later date on or before the expiry date of the program.
6. This program will be valid till June 2, 2019.
