The unit proposes to modernize and integrate the products with no change in land area and production. The total land area acquired by the unit is 22 acres. This has been released by HUDA and the CLU for the same has been taken also (copy enclosed annexure-A). The total capital investment till 31.12.2016 of AIPL, Ballabgarh plant of Herbal Extract & Its Purified Products is 137 CR. As per EIA Notification, published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary Part-II, Section-3, sub- section (ii) of Ministry of Environment & Forest dated 14.09.2006 & subsequent amendments, the project falls in Activity 5(f), Category-B of “List of Projects or Activities Requiring Prior Environmental Clearance”. As per the above notification, project will have to obtain environmental clearance from State Environmental Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) or State Environmental Appraisal Committee (SEAC) for the proposed changes.
