It provides a comprehensive program for bachelor students in the early stages of learning the Arabic language. Practice of Oral and Written Speech of the Arabic languageis one of the most interesting and difficult disciplines to be studied by future specialists of Oriental Studies, particularly Arabic studies. The discipline consists of two main skills of language, one of them is speaking and the second is writing. The title of the book was given based on the name of the discipline in the Curriculum of the specialty “Oriental Studies”. So, the book consists of two parts; the first of which focuses on speaking, while the other focuses on writing. The difficulty is due to the large amount of information used in these two parts, in particular 15 topics from different areas, teaching material, the complexity of the issues that require a good knowledge not only of practical work, but of the theory of Arabic, particularly grammar materials. The educational manual consists of 15 topics, included the main dialogues and essays as introducing yourself, the family, specialty, four seasons, house, shopping, at the airport, sports, at the doctor’s, the culture, at the bank, holiday. One of the advantages of the educational manual is that it was prepared in both English and Arabic, which is especially important for groups with English language training and groups with Kazakh and Russian languages to improve their skills in two foreign languages. Every text is followed by a text to check and develop reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills of students. It will help to train specialists of Arabic. Dialogues and essays on any topic are accompanied by the exercises to revise the knowledge being acquired as the result of training. The practical part of training on the oral and written language is organized during the first and the third years of study, so the texts included in the educational manual are of small and medium sizes. 5 This educational manual develops the skills of the formal Arabic language, including speaking, writing, listening, reading, and cultural knowledge. In addition to the main material of the discipline, the educational manual includes an Arabic-English glossary of words in three languages, tasks for the individual work of the students, tasks for students work under the guidance of the teacher, list of the references, and exam questions. 6 LIST OF ICOONS Group work Look through listen carefully focus on pronuncciation Read silently aloud Work in pairs with the teacherr translate important Idafa (Mudaf ua aal-Mudaf ilayh) Self-reading Individual speakking in time take a note homework Learn by heart Write Share with the group use a dictionary make a sentencee talk to a colleaague/colleagues 7 I MOODULE SPEAKKING PART 1.INTRODUUCING YOURSEELF AND OTHEERS فراعتلا Dialogue 1 لولأا راوحللا Time for GGroup work Look through thhe dialogue givenn below betweenn Kanat and Muhhammad, then liisten carefully wwhile the teacheer reads the dialoogue and focus onn pronunciation raather than vocabullary !مْككيلع مُ لاسلا:تاناق !ملاسسلا مُ كيلعو: دٌ محم ؟كمسا امو .تتاناق يمسا:تاناق .ٌ ةديعس ٌ ةصرف .دممحم يمسا:دمحم .ٌةدييععس ٌ ةصرف:تاناق Read the dialoguee silently focusingg on pronunciationn Time for wwork in pairs Read the dialoguee aloud with yourr partner 8 Time for GGroup work Read the dialoguue with the teacheer focusing on thhe vocabulary and ttranslation Greeting form “!ممْكيلع مُ لاسلا” (Peacee be upon you!) aand answer is “!ملاسسلا مُ كيلعو”, where “ملاسلا” is Peace and “ىلع” is a Prreposition on, uponn.
