PET imaging with 18F-FDG has become a mainstay of many clinicalsettings,andotherradiotracersarefindingtheirwayintotherapidlyexpandingfield ofoncologicPET.However,radiopharmaceuticalbreakthroughsduringthisperiodhave notbeenconfinedtoonesingleimagingmodality.Refinementsindiagnosticapplications ofmonoclonalantibodies,radiolabeledpeptides,neuroreceptors,andawholespectrum ofnewmoleculartargetingagentsaresteadilystrengtheningtheclinicalnuclearmedicine armamentarium.
